I myself do have plans for 2024, which I'm going to post alongside with the 2023 Art Summary picture next Saturday, so I don't want to spam you all with the long version even here.

TL;DR: 1) I will try out a new schedule, uploading every Saturday only, because the twice-per-week version really stifled progression of my larger projects at times (even though I am goddamn proud I could pull it off for an entire year for the first time in my life!). Now whether or not this once-per-week will help me get stuff done or make me lazy and inefficient, is going to be a million-dollar question. I might change it mid-year, if it doesn't work.

2) I will dedicate a new DA gallery for my original story, Dragons of Great Avalon, while this one remains fanart-oriented. Probably will move all the pics related to that work from here to the new place as well, I will figure out how!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful year so far, and may it stay that way until the end! :)

With the calendar turning over to October, I just realized I have once again done another three months of constant uploads while making headway with my Diablo comic project, and my god, it kinda stunned me to realize that, not gonna lie. There were many times in these past months where I was convinced I was doing things the wrong way and I was about to lose my streak. But... I made it through. I am genuinely shocked by this. But also a bit proud, not gonna deny that! ^^

As for the end of the year, I am full of plans, as always. Waay too many plans. XD But I will try to bring them to fruition. The biggest one being is to actually finish Then There Were Five, and hopefully close out the year, or maybe start out the new year with the uploading of its pages! Wouldn't that be cool? Once that is out of the way, I am hoping to take what I have learnt during this year, and actually start working earnestly on my entirely original project - Dragons of Great Avalon... possibly on a new account too, and maaaybe with some YT video ideas thrown in the mix? We will see how the world turns, of course, but right now, I am actually in a hopeful mood!

Anyway, I just wanted to whip this journal together. It's been ages since I last did a journal that wasn't asking for advice on something. Again, I hope you are all doing well. ^^ If you have an accomplishment to share, I am all ears. Take care and keep being awesome!

Hey, everyone! Hope you are all having a wonderful year so far! ^^ I have been busy getting used to this new Tuesday-Saturday uploading schedule, and I'm pleasantly surprised with the results so far! Still need more time to engrave the habit, but I'm doing it! I hope you guys also enjoy the content!

Long story short: I would like to ask your advice on not-Tumblr blog-hosting sites! Free or involving a reasonable subscription fee, all is currently on the table while I am doing research. I would like to create a supporting/backup site for my Diablo fanfic That First Spark, not necessarily for posting the chapters themselves, but for blog posts and announcements regarding updates and Diablo-related stuff. I am a total beginner in blogging and I can't code, so I am looking for beginner-friendly sites as of now.

Long story long: I have began thinking about leaving Tumblr behind altogether. I have a Diablo fanfiction blog and an art side-blog there, but if I can be frank for a minute, it is the farthest thing from a rewarding experience. I'm not talking about the lack of traffic - my first and foremost goal on the internet is to love what I am doing, not to seek outer validation. But Tumblr has, in my opinion, a terrible site structure, but more importantly a bunch of cultures that do not make me feel welcomed in the slightest. I have met some of the worst, most horrible, soulless people on that site who did their best to destroy me once they realized I dared to have different opinions on some matters. I have seen the most soul-destroying, outer-validation-seeking practices touted as "good things". I have to waddle through so many (to put it mildly) off-putting artworks and writings just to find one that actually makes me feel something positive. I am not saying that site is for no one, and if you find a place there where you feel truly happy and welcomed, then my man, more power to you! But damn, for me, it ain't it, Chief. There may come a day when I return, maybe to upload my future projects and not much interactions beyond that, but for now I think it is best for me to let it go... IF I can find a better alternative. Hence my quest to find a blog site where I can start out on and get some practice in writing-related blogging.

One day I hopefully get around watching website-coding tutorials on Skillshare and Udemy, but for now, I need to rely on layman-friendly hosting services. If you could help me with recommendations, I would be very grateful! ^^ Thank you for reading and keep being awesome!

Hey everyone! I hope you are having a good start for 2023!

This year I really would like to make myself seen a bit more online on the long run, so I am trying out a new tactic/idea and with that, an actual upload schedule!

Right now the plan is to upload every Tuesday and Saturday, on DeviantArt, on my new Artfol profile, and either on the tumblr blog for That First Spark or my art blog. Thank god that two of those sites have scheduling built in already! XDD

Now I cannot say for sure what kind of uploads these will be. Most of them will not be fully rendered fully finished pictures, since I have a full time job once again. But I really would like to make it a more livelier place, and I hope you guys will enjoy the content! ^^

As for new accounts, I am currently planning to create a second profile here on DA, and eventually on Artfol as well, where I will upload my works regarding my original projects: By Devil's Will, Dragons of Great Avalon and DuatStories. "Kenyizsu" would remain the fanart profile, and I would move all my own creations to this new account. Hopefully this will keep a cleaner gallery for both side, and you guys can choose which is more interesting for you, if not both. This is all just plans for now, I would love to hear your thoughts on it though!

So ladies and gentlemen, today I had been laid off from my job of 3 years because of the recession. It's an actual gut punch, not gonna lie, but thankfully, the world has not yet ended for me. I still have opportunities and options, I will get through this and find the road again. Please do not worry about me.

I am not sure how this will impact my creativity, I might fall silent for a while, I might get more prolific. We will soon find out, I reckon! Just letting you guys know of the situation!
